MOTION 22′

Motion 22 wasn’t a festival, but it’s this super cool project I got to take part, that was presented at  »La Place des Festivals » de Montréal. We were tasked with testing the new tracking technology for projections by Panasonic in an outdoor venue. It was technically a bit complicated for the amount of time we had, but we had so much fun playing around in this public place and blowing people’s mind when they realized they could control the visuals on multiple buildings/projections area at the same time. You could also influence the music by your movements.

As most of my projects lately, we used Touchdesigner to run the generative part + we were lucky to get access to 6 x 25k projectors which allowed to present even with a lot of light pollution.

For 10 days, each night people got to experience for free 3 originals creations by 3 artists, including myself. Music was created by DJ. Mutante, an amazing sound producer.
